Did everyone make it home safely? Our planes got us home...although Mom and Dad ended up getting delayed twice. It's too bad we never ended up renting kayaks -- next year I'll do it on the first day!
The only group I've not heard from in some form or another is Colorado. And I assume Billy and Terry would have been on the phone to someone if they hadn't made it back.
So I guess Ben and me are the story. No problem for the first couple of hours. However the car acts like it wants to quit before we get to OKC. We had the diognostic tool with us so we were able to kind of figure out what to look for. Called ahead to Kevin for the parts before the parts house closes and he meets us at Bobbie and Joes. Install the new 02 senser take her out for a shake down run and it all seems golden. Roll out of OKC next AM and everything is groovy until just outside of Dallas. Long story short, Barb brought the trailer out about 100 miles or so to rescue us. Then the trailer had a blowout so we linped in on 3 wheels. Turns out the 02 senser wasn't bad the mouse ate wires were the problem. Mice, gotta love em.
Oh you are so welcome, glad some of us are getting such good use out of it... I know my email inbox is appreciating it! What a bummer about your trip home but glad you made it safe and enjoy that waterbed! :-)
I feel the same way! I've been visiting the other side (one aunt, two grown cousins, and their three young children) and as all was madness on the beach I said sadly, "We have such a small family." And they were all like WHAT??! :) But I assured them that large families are much, much better.
So what are we gonna talk about now. Now that the reunion is over? I don't want to lose this connection with you guys! Check my page, I'm all crazy over there :)
We did! Even though I enjoy vacation and spending time with everyone it was nice to be back home... sleeping in my own bed! :-)

ReplyDeleteWe're home, sadly. Went to the lake with friends the next weekend, but it wasn't the same. I need my cousins and aunts and uncles!!!
