I sent an email to everyone (hopefully I didn't miss anyone) to become an author of the blog. Then you can post your own entries and comment on others. We can have up to 100 authors so everyone should be able to take part!
Well I just copied and pasted all the emails from the family ones that have been going around... so if they were not in there then then no I didn't. But if you get me their emails I will send them the invite to become an author. Thanks for joining our blog!
PS you commented on another persons entry which is great but if you ever want to start a new one perhaps with a new topic you would click on "new post" in the top right corner of the screen once you are signed in. Then you can make your own title and add your own blog entry. As for the name thing I am not sure, must be something with how your profile is set up... try clicking on your name under contributors and editing your profile... also if you followed the link I sent out to join the blog then it auto put you in as a contributor once you signed on which just means you are a member of this blog and can add new entries
To change the name you have on the blog... click on your name under contributors, should bring you to your profile, click on edit my profile, under indentity you can change your display name which can be different from your first and last name
